Basics:
All photos are provided on an online album. The online album can be shared with guests or remain private at party's descretion. Liability insurance. Travel is included up to 15 miles from Hampden, Baltimore. Additional travel is charged at $30/per 15 miles.
Second Shooter:
A second shoot can be added to any package, typically priced at $75 per hour. Separate travel fees will apply depending on restrictions, location, and timing of the requested times.
FAQ
Why is wedding photography so expensive?
- Editing wedding day photos takes 2-3x the onsite hours. So a 5 hour wedding actually takes close to 15 hours of editing.
- My yearly editing software costs $400+.
- Website, insurance, contracts, invoicing, storage, equipment maintenance and portfolio costs upwards of $5000 a year.
- Equipment (camera, lenses, flash, batteries etc) alone can cost more than $25,000
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Baltimore City, Maryland. Although most of the year I am not able to travel more than an hour, during the summers and holidays I do travel extensively.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 4 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season height). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them to your guests, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
On average you will receive back about 50-80 images per hour of onsite time. Example: 8 hour wedding you will receive back 400- 650 photos. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to edit.
Do you tip wedding photographers?
This answer can be hard to answer but the short answer is "sometimes."
If you are asking a lot more from anyone than what was initially discussed generally speaking it would be courteous to tip. However, society is generally moving away from tipping and it should never be expected.
Do you feed wedding photographers?
Most often, yes. Generally speaking the photographers are usually fed after the guests. This allows time for the photographer to take some shots of the food and displays, while afterwards being able to grab a bite while guests are eating.
Although I usually bring a snacky snack so my blood sugar doesnt dip.
"Edit" vs. "Retouched"
I edit nearly every photo! Yes all of them. But I spend extra time and editing skills to retouch. My retouch processing include teeth whitening, hair management, sometimes even photoshopping background stuff.
